Dear Overflow Family,
We want to reach out to you and let you know what has been happening with the Overflow ministry. We know you are anxiously awaiting news of upcoming events and conferences, and we apologize for the lack of communication over the past few months.
Back in December, Natalie McGehee stepped down from Overflow. We are all so thankful for the years of ministry and love she poured into this community! Overflow was a vision of ministry God gave to Natalie years ago, and she was so faithful to follow His direction and calling. We want to thank her for her leadership and friendship to so many moms parenting on their own across the country and around the world!
Since she stepped down, we have been praying and seeking ways to continue Overflow in the manner God wants it to continue. We are still seeking and praying for His direction. At this time, we do not have a clear answer as to what is next. We realize this may be a disappointment to you, and we are deeply sorry for that. We want to ask you to please join us as we pray for direction and wisdom for the future of Overflow. We will update you as soon as we are more clear about the path forward.
We want you to know you are still very much a part of the Bayou City Fellowship family. We would encourage you to join us for Sunday morning gatherings at any of our campuses. Many of you are still connected, and we love seeing you. If you know of Overflow moms who need a church home, we would encourage you to reach out to them and bring them along with you. As we have always tried to emphasize, being a part of a church family helps on the hard days and fights the feelings of isolation and loneliness you may be feeling. If you need someone to talk to or help getting connected, please give us a call! We would love to talk with you and see how you are doing and how we can help.
Thank you in advance for your prayers and patience, as we all seek God’s will for the Overflow community!
